Bella Goes to Sea by Benedict Blathwayt

Bella the Goose lives with William by the sea. When William goes out fishing in his boat Bella wants to go too and flies after him, but William thinks the sea is no place for a goose.

But Bella comes into her own when they are shipwrecked, and flies off with a message to get help.
